I chose Didot as the display font, and Baskerville as the body text font. These two work well together as they are similar in style, both refined, classic serif styles. Though Didot is a bit more dramatic (with the curved terminals on the L and S), Baskerville has been used as a body text font since it was invented in the 18th century. It is sensible, elegant, and legible, without overshadowing Didot's dramatic flair.
